Q&A with James Clement

What is your expertise or claim to fame?

I've been a filmmaker for over 14 years. I'm extremely fortunate to have been someone who knew what they wanted to do from an early age. I've been working in the corporate/branded content space as well as the wedding filmmaking space ever since. I love telling stories about people and really creating work with heart that connects the audience to the people or person they're seeing on screen.

What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned in your business?

Contracts aren't fun but they're essential.

What does it mean to you to redesign your website?

It's huge. I've invested in education and equipment but always put branding/image aside. I always spoke about how important it is but never did it for myself. I'm a firm believer that this investment will lead to new, bigger and more fulfilling work.

Why did you ultimately decide to work with GoLive?

I saw their work through Instagram and it caught my attention. After I spoke with them and learned more about their process, I was sure they were the team I wanted to work with. I'm incredibly glad I did.
