As a Copywriter, you’ll write copy for our client’s website. This includes developing brand voice, messaging frameworks, and website copy, then packaging everything into polished, ready-to-use copy that clients feel confident publishing.

Availability

This is a remote, project-based contractor role. Copywriters must be available to work and communicate within North American business hours between PST and EST.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Write compelling copy based on the client intake form

  • Host 1-hour strategy calls with clients to develop their brand voice, tone, and messaging strategy based on client goals and audience

  • Craft clear, engaging copy for key website pages including Home, About, Services, and Calls-to-Action

  • Guide clients through the copywriting process with clear communication and strategic rationale

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Website Designer to ensure aligned messaging and layout

  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and brand voice across all deliverables

  • Deliver clean, organized copy files ready for implementation


Skills

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write clear, persuasive, and on-brand messaging

  • Ability to adapt voice and tone across different industries and brand personalities

  • Skilled in writing conversion-focused website copy

  • Strong understanding of brand messaging, positioning, and audience psychology

  • Excellent communication skills with warm, friendly client interactions

  • Natural problem solver with the ability to make quick decisions during sprints

  • Highly organized workflow to meet fast turnaround times
