We’re feeling so inspired after our amazing design week with Angela Price! Angela shares her family life, style and inspirations through her blog, By Angela Price, and recently her website needed a fresh update! Our sleek and stylish Meticulous Template created the perfect base design—from there, we wanted to bring a chic, modern, and welcoming vibe to the site.

In this Restyle, we gave Angela’s logo an update, created fun category thumbnail graphics for her blog and shop pages, added pretty script font throughout, and came out with a BEAUTIFUL site design that pairs so well with the imagery and content Angela loves to share.

"I started my blog thinking it was going to be a hobby and would be happy just to have a few followers. During my first year my blog grew and grew, and it didn't take long for me to be completely hooked and decide to take a real go at it."

After receiving questions on her style and giving advice to her friends, Angela decided to share her thoughts and life through blogging and quickly fell in love!

GO LIVE: WHERE DID YOUR PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY OF CRAFT START?

Angela: I found myself always being asked, where did you get this?, where did you get that?, what would you do in this situation? So when I moved from the states to Canada and was not able to work, I decided to get into blogging. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with it!

GO LIVE: DID YOUR EDUCATION HELP PREPARE YOU FOR THE INDUSTRY OR ARE YOU SELF-TAUGHT?

Angela: I would say I am self-taught and still learning every day! I do have a background in marketing and finance though, so of course that helps with any business!

GO LIVE: WHAT'S THE HARDEST LESSON YOU'VE LEARNED IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Angela: The hardest lesson I've learned is how hard it can be to hold myself accountable. When you work for yourself it is all on you.There is no one else to pick up the slack!

GO LIVE: WHAT DO YOU WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?

Angela: How much work it is!! By just looking at someone's blog, you would never realize how many hours and hard work actually goes in to it.

GO LIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD WHEN YOU SAID, "I SHOULD DO THIS" OR WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE JUMP INTO WORKING FOR YOURSELF?

GO LIVE: WHAT THINGS HAVE YOU GAINED/ DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN IN YOUR LIFE FROM FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?

Angela: I am a wife of a hockey player, so our lives revolve around my husband's career. When I found something I could do on my own that worked with a traveling lifestyle, I felt so much more fulfilled!

GO LIVE: WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY DECIDE TO WORK WITH US FOR YOUR RESTYLE?

Angela: My site desperately needed to be more professional, user-friendly and organized. I am not techy at all, so getting professional help was 100 percent necessary.
After doing some research, Go Live was the best option to get the site I wanted.
